“The Town of Bolton is truly grateful to be awarded $10,000 from the Soul City Solar Community Grant Program. This support comes at an exciting time as we continue working to expand opportunities and enhance the quality of life for our residents. With these funds, we will be able to strengthen our community activities, create spaces for fellowship, and invest in programs that bring our people together. “Funding from Soul City Solar will support the operation of our two workforce training programs, Refill Jackson Green Corps and our Pre-Employment training for disconnect youth in Jackson. These programs impart vital career development skills for young adults who are struggling to obtain self-sustaining employment, including professional communication, financial literacy, and industry-recognized credentials such as OSHA-10, along with wrap-around social services. “Clinton Community Nature Center will be utilizing funds from the Soul City Solar Grant to install irrigation to our Native Plant Nursery.
