Participating Neighbor Program

Share in Soul City Solar's Benefits

Join the Participating Neighbor Program

To ensure that the benefits of Soul City Solar are broadly shared within the community, we invite all neighboring property owners the opportunity to formally join the project through our Participating Neighbor Program.

Deciding to participate is entirely up to you. Through the program, you can receive annual compensation from the project even if you are not hosting solar panels or facilities on your property. Soul City Solar does not gain any rights or access to your property through the program; participation is completely voluntary.

Participating Neighbor Program Benefits

  • An additional 25-foot property line setback from project facilities, for a total property-line setback of 50 feet
  • An additional 200-foot minimum setback from existing occupied structures on your property to solar facilities, for a total setback of 500 feet
  • Annual compensation throughout the life of the project

A sample template of the agreement can be found here. If you are interested in learning more or would like to participate in the project, please fill out the form below. You can also contact us at (601) 640-2955 or [email protected].
